The January 2025 Lincolnshire FA Veo Goal of the Month award has been claimed by Lucas Norris of Crosby United JFC U12 Colts. Lucas' curling effort won the public ballot with 46% of the total votes, winning the vote by a landslide in what was another fiercely competitive month.

The public vote attracted an impressive 695 total votes, with Lucas edging out strong competition from the other shortlisted nominees: Gainsborough Trinity Community FC U16, Harry Rawding, Hugo Smith, Jack Gibson, Rowan Howard, and Katy Thornley.

Lincolnshire FA’s Media, Marketing & Events Officer, Zack Leader, will present Lucas with his award at an upcoming training session later in the month. 

The full results for January 2025's Veo Goal of the Month are as follows:

1. Lucas Norris - Crosby United JFC U12 Colts: 46%

2. Harry Rawding - Grantham Town FC Youth U9: 18%

3. Jack Gibson - Keelby United Tigers U10: 12%

4. Hugo Smith - Grantham Town FC Youth U9: 9%

5. Katy Thornley - Gainsborough Trinity FC Women: 6%

6. Rowan Howard - Humberston JFC Harriers U10: 6%

7. Gainsborough Trinity Community FC U16's: 1%

The Lincolnshire FA Veo Goal of the Month award is open to any goal scored by a team affiliated with Lincolnshire FA—as long as you have video footage of the goal, it’s eligible for submission!

At the end of each month, the best goals will be shortlisted and opened to a public vote to determine the winner.

What Does the Winner Receive?

Each month’s winner will receive:

A framed certificate celebrating their achievement.

A visit from Lincolnshire FA’s Media & Marketing Officer for a filmed interview that will be featured on our social media channels.

A formal award presentation to recognise their accomplishment.
