The first-ever Lincolnshire FA Veo Goal of the Month award has been presented to Albie Wager from Skegness Town Junior Football Club after the 7-year-old won the public ballot with 40% of the total votes. 

The youngster was presented with his award last weekend and saw off competition from Noah Cheeseman, Lauren Alderson, Will Pettitt, and Alex Beck.

The public ballot received a staggering 1,840 votes, meaning Albie won the February award with over 700 votes. Lincolnshire FA's Media, Marketing & Events Officer - Zack Leader - visited the Vertigo Stadium to present the award to Albie. You can watch the full video of the presentation here:

The Lincolnshire FA Goal of the Month award is in collaboration with our new partner, Veo Technologies.

The Veo Goal of The Month award is open for any goal scored by a Lincolnshire FA affiliated team - as long as you have got video footage of the goal, it’s ready to be nominated! 

Please note: Any team under the age of 18 will require consent from all players and parents.

To submit a nomination, you can upload it to any of your social media platforms – tagging Lincolnshire FA in the post and using the hashtag #LFAVeoGOTM. Please include the name of the player, the date the goal was scored and who it was scored for.

The Veo Goal of the Month winner will receive a framed certificate, as well as having Lincolnshire FA’s Media & Marketing Officer come down to film an interview that’ll be shared on our social media channels, as well as presenting the award to the winners.
