New Level 1 Coaching CPD: Introduction to Delivering a Coaching Session
Lincolnshire FA are excited to announce a series of CPD events, exclusively for coaches who're at the start of their coaching journey and have completed their Introduction to Coaching Football course.
The Introduction to Delivering a Coaching Session workshop is for beginner / novice coaches who have just started their coaching journey, and anyone wishing to run a team in a safe, fun, and enjoyable environment.
The key outcomes of the workshop will include observing a Coach Developer creating a positive environment, discussing how to manage difference effectively using STEP, and exploring key learnings within its own context.
The FA Introduction to Coaching Football course is complemented by this face-to-face practical CPD workshop. The workshop is for those who want to build confidence in planning and delivering sessions to create a safe, fun and enjoyable environment or for those wishing to run a team.

Chris Funnell, Head of Football Operations at Lincolnshire FA, said: "Through national consultation, coaches provided feedback that more face-to-face sessions would be beneficial to them, and so the 'Introduction to Delivering a Coaching Session' CPD has been developed by The FA to support newly qualified coaches in attaining the practical experience that is missing from the 'Introduction to Coaching Football Course'. The data tells us since the inception of the Introduction to Coaching Football Course that over 900 coaches within the county have started their coaching journey and so we're really excited to be delivering this course, locally, throughout Lincolnshire."
