HBW United, a local team from Lincolnshire, are raising money to supply PPE to care homes during the coronavirus pandemic by doing daily walks and runs – and have already raised over £1,000!

So far, the players have bought and donated 3,400 units of PPE to care homes in Lincolnshire, including aprons, gloves, hand sanitisers and masks.

HBW United, which stands for Heighington, Branston and Washingborough – home villages of the team members – are also covering for the PPE delivery and providing wrapped sweets to boost morale in a fantastic show of support for front-line workers.
