Horncastle Town FC has become the latest club to achieve Lincolnshire FA’s LGBTQ+ Inclusive Club Accreditation, demonstrating their commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

They were awarded their Accreditation certificate on Wednesday 22nd January 2025, recognising the positive steps they have taken to support LGBTQ+ players, coaches, referees, and supporters within their club and the wider football community.

Creating an Inclusive Football Community

The Lincolnshire FA LGBTQ+ Accreditation Programme is designed to help clubs across the county develop inclusive practices that ensure football is a space where everyone feels welcome, valued, and free to be themselves.

Lincolnshire FA’s vision - "One Lincolnshire Community, United and Inspired by the Power of Football" - is built on the foundations of unity, inclusivity, and acceptance. By achieving this accreditation, Horncastle Town FC has demonstrated their commitment to these values and taken practical steps to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all members, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation.
