Service Recognition Awards 2025

Lincolnshire FA Service Recognition Awards: Nominations Open for 2025

We are inviting nominations for our Service Recognition Awards, which celebrate those who have made significant contributions to the game.

Lincolnshire Football Association is proud to honour the tireless efforts of volunteers who have dedicated their time and skills to the development of football throughout the county. As part of our commitment to recognising excellence in grassroots football, we are inviting nominations for our Service Recognition Awards, which celebrate those who have made significant contributions to the game.

There are three key award categories for which individuals may be nominated:

Long Service Award (10 years)
This award is designed for individuals who have made outstanding administrative contributions to their club or football in Lincolnshire for a minimum of 10 consecutive years. The nominee’s service must not include playing or refereeing and must demonstrate significant and lasting impact within their role.

Valued Service Award (20 years)
The Valued Service Award is for those who have given at least 20 years of continuous service to football in Lincolnshire. As with the Long Service Award, nominees must have contributed administratively, or in other forms, that are considered outstanding over two decades of service, excluding playing or refereeing.

Referee Long Service Award
This award recognises referees who have been active in their role for a minimum of 20 consecutive years. Their ongoing commitment to officiating and ensuring the integrity of the game is celebrated through this recognition.

Meritorious Service Award
The highest honour the Lincolnshire FA can bestow is the Meritorious Service Award. This is awarded at the discretion of the Lincolnshire FA Council and is reserved for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional and distinguished service to football across the county.

Nomination Process
The nomination period for the 2025 Service Recognition Awards is now open. Here’s everything you need to know:

  • Nomination period: 1st January – 28th February.
  • Submission: Complete the nomination form no later than midnight on 28th February.
