We are thrilled to announce that James Todd, known affectionately as "Toddy," has been named Lincolnshire FA’s 2024 Male Pathway Coach of the Year.

Toddy is more than just a coach for Bears FC—he’s a constant source of encouragement, praise, and passion for the young players he leads.

No matter the weather—rain, snow, or sun—Toddy is always there, putting the needs of the boys first, both on the training field and during matches. His dedication and enthusiasm are infectious, and he has built a football environment where every player feels welcomed, valued, and supported.

He ensures each young player has their own football "home," a place where they can grow, have fun, and achieve their personal goals.

Beyond his coaching, Toddy’s impact has been deeply personal for many families. One parent shared the story of how Toddy supported their son through a challenging time after losing his father to cancer and having to move from the home and school he loved.

Thanks to Toddy's unwavering support, the boy was able to adjust to a new environment and begin to heal, finding comfort and joy in football once again.

Toddy’s love for the game is evident in every interaction with the team, and he serves as a constant positive role model for all the players. His influence doesn’t stop with the kids either—his commitment is a family affair, with his wife and older children regularly attending training sessions, matches, and tournaments to support the Bears FC family.
