Are you a young person passionate about shaping the future of football in Lincolnshire? The Lincolnshire FA Youth Council is looking for dedicated new members to join their team! We are recruiting for an Education Partnerships Lead, and an Events Lead.
Formed in 2020, the Youth Council provides a unique platform for young people aged 16-24 to voice their opinions, drive meaningful change, and develop leadership skills—all while playing a crucial role in shaping youth football in Lincolnshire.

About the Lincolnshire FA Youth Council
The Youth Council is more than a group of football enthusiasts; it’s a team of like-minded young people working together to make a difference. The focus of the Youth Council is to:
- Represent and amplify the voices of young people involved in Lincolnshire football.
- Support the development of youth engagement strategies and participate in specific campaigns and projects.
- Provide members with leadership experience, hands-on engagement, and a chance to develop professional skills through active roles within the County FA.
- Drive youth engagement discussions and share best practices for including young people in Lincolnshire football.

Eligibility and Commitment Requirements
To be eligible, you should:
- Be aged between 16-24 and live in Lincolnshire.
- Be actively involved in football or have a strong passion to grow the game within Lincolnshire.
- Commit to using this opportunity to develop yourself and those around you.
- Be willing to undergo or possess an FA DBS check.
Successful applicants must commit to:
- Attending a minimum of 75% of Youth Council meetings, both online and in person.
- Engaging with the Youth Council’s networking platform and completing project-related tasks.
- Supporting at least two Lincolnshire FA events and nominating young individuals for their contributions to football in Lincolnshire.
- Adhering to the Lincolnshire FA Youth Council Terms of Reference and Code of Conduct.
Role Info: Education Partnerships Lead
- Create and establish strong working relationships with local education providers
- Promote the concept of the Youth Council by being a presence and a local contact for schools, colleges and universities
- Deliver workshop and other related content to potential future Youth Council members
- Utilise opportunities to deliver Youth Council events and CPD at local education providers
- Be a key link for education providers who wish to work in collaboration with the Youth Council
Role Info: Events Lead
- Lead the planning, implementation and delivery of all Youth Council public events
- Co-ordinate with local venues to ensure the Youth Council has presence at relevant venues to the strategic aims of the group
- Ensure that the Youth Council is delivering a minimum number of high profile events to support its wider strategic aims
- Work with the Administration Lead to ensure that events are publicised efficiently, and the appropriate participants are targeted effectively
- Support networking with key stakeholder and commercial partners, so that events can be sustainable
