Lincolnshire FA and Veo Technologies are excited to announce the launch of the Veo Goal of the Season, open to all players across our County who've scored goals that have been caught on camera for Lincolnshire FA affiliated teams.

Have you scored a rocket, or witnessed an outstanding team move this season? As long as you have got video footage of the goal, it’s ready to be nominated! 

Please note: Any team under the age of 18 will require consent from all players and parents.

To submit your nomination, you can email it to Zack.Leader@lincolnshirefa.com, or alternatively you can upload it to any of your social media platforms – tagging Lincolnshire FA in the post, including details of the goal scorer and date it was scored in the caption, and using the hashtag #LFAVeoGOTS.

We would recommend doing both, so you can submit your efforts and shout about it at the same time! The closing date for submissions is 5pm on Friday 12th July 2024.

You can also send your submissions via private message on any of our social media platforms. 

Once the submission window is closed, we will shortlist the best goals and open it up to a public vote to determine the winner. 

The Veo Goal of the Season winner will receive a framed certificate, a gift voucher for either Net World Sports or Amazon, as well as having Lincolnshire FA’s Media & Marketing Officer come down to film an interview that’ll be shared on our social media channels, as well as presenting the award to the winner. 

As part of the partnership we have with Veo, Lincolnshire clubs have access to £200 discount on Veo products for the duration of the two-year deal.

There are a few T&C’s to consider before submitting your nomination:

• You can submit more than one goal from a team or club, the more the merrier!
  
  
• Please include the fixture, name of the goal scorer, and date of the goal in your submission.
  
  
• Submissions don’t have to come from a Veo camera, though it’d be nice if they do!
  
  
• Any team under the age of 18 will require consent from all players and parents, including that of the opposition team, before sending in a submission for safeguarding reasons. It is the responsibility of the person submitting the entry to ensure they have permission for their own players and the players and/or parents on the opposing team before posting the video online, so please check before you do. If you're unsure, feel free to contact Lincolnshire FA's Designated Safeguarding Officer, Ben Pearce, for advice on Ben.Pearce@lincolnshirefa.com.
