Lincolnshire FA Receive Nationally-Recognised Equality Award
Lincolnshire FA is delighted to announce that the Association has been successful in gaining the Foundation Level of the Equality Standard for Sport from The FA.
The National Standard for Equality is a nationally-recognised framework that assists County Football Associations with embedding equality at the highest level of their organisation, and communicating and sharing that commitment with its staff and partners.
It also provides a framework to review how a County FA is organised around equality in relation to its service delivery, workforce, policies, procedures and legal compliance against the backdrop of The FA's National Game Strategy.
Nick Hanson, Chief Executive Officer of Lincolnshire FA, said: “As a County FA we are delighted to share the news of our Foundation Level accreditation of the Equality Standard for Sport and I’m extremely proud of the steps we have taken as an Association to reach this milestone.
“As a county Lincolnshire is proud of its diverse community and as the local governing body for grassroots football, we are firmly committed to equality in all areas of our work, helping to ensure that groups and individuals of all backgrounds are given the same progression opportunities within the game.
“We look forward to building upon this accreditation and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in our strategies moving forward.”
